Itinerary
Day 1
Fly to Istanbul and transfer to your city centre hotel, free day and overnight in Istanbul. Meals N/A
Day 2
Explore Old City of Sultan Ahmed and overnight in Istanbul. B
Day 3
Explore the beauties of Bosphorus Straight. Overnight in Istanbul. B
Day 4
Drive to Canakkale and visit Gallipoli Battlefields & Troy. Overnight in Canakkale. B-D
Day 5
Visit the Ancient sites of Pergamum & Ephesus. Overnight in Kusadasi. B-D
Day 6
Drive to Pamukkale & Hierapolis. Enjoy the thermal baths. Overnight in Thermal Spa Hotel. B-D
Day 7
Drive to Bursa, first capital of the Ottoman Dynasty. Overnight in Bursa. B
Day 8
Drive back to Istanbul on the way stopping over in Cumalikazik Village and Iznik. Overnight in Istanbul. B
Day 9
Final day and end of the tour. Transfer to Airport. B
Day 1

You will arrive to Istanbul and transfer to 5 Star Wyndam Grand or Crowne Plaza Hotel. Your guide will inform you about your tour program. Wellcome Coctail , check into your rooms and the remaining day free. 


Day 2

Today you will be exploring the Old City of Sultan Ahmed. You will be visiting Hagia Sophia, the Chuch of the Divine Wisdom one of the grandest churches of Byzantine era, Blue Mosque with its striking blue Iznik tiles , Hippodrome and the Imperial Palace of Topkapi followed by Grand Covered Bazaar with nearly 400o shops selling antiques, jewellery, Carpets and many different souvenirs to choose from. Overnight in Istanbul.      


Day 3

Bosphorus Tour through the waterway seperating the two continents Europe and Asia. You will be seeing this amazing city from a different pesrpective and will have a opportunity to take pictures of Ottoman Palaces, wooden mantions, bridges that are connecting the two continents, Rumeli and Anatolian Fortresses. Overnight in Istanbul   


Day 4

Drive to Canakkale through Tekirdag and crossing The Dardanelle from Eceabat to Canakkale by ferry. One of the most emotionally touching places in Turkey, today you will be visiting the WW1 Battlefields of Gallipoli including Lone Pine and Chunuk Bair Memorials, ANZAC Cove, The Nek, Johnston’s Jolly, original trenches and tunnels. Then you will be visiting the Ancient City of Troy. Dinner & overnight in Canakkale Kolin Hotel      

 


Day 5

Drive to Assos, Pergamum and Ephesus. In Pergamum Acropolis, Temple of Athena, Library, Royal Palace, Altar of Zeus Temple of Dionysus, ruins of the medical centre and Archaeological Museum will be visited. In Ephesus is one of the best preserved Ancient Cities of the world and in here you will be seeing the spectacular theatre, St. John's Basilica, The Virgin Mary's Cottage where it has believed that she has spent her final years. The Temple of Diana, library, market place and many beautifully preserved fountains are among the highlights of Ephesus which you will be seeing.  Dinner & overnight in Kusadasi Korumar Hotel.     

 


Day 6

Visit the ruins of Ephesus and then drive to Hierapolis. Pamukkale and Hierapolis have thermal baths, lime cascades, theatre and necropolis. You will have an opportunity to swim in the natural hot spring therapeutic pools. Dinner and overnight in Richmond Thermal Hotel.  

 


Day 7

You will drive to Bursa to visit the old capital of the Ottoman Empire and to explore the beauties of the city. You will overnight at Bursa Kervansaray Thermal Hotel. Bursa is located at the foot of Mt. Uludag that had once been called the Mysian Olympus. Once it has been the first capital of the Ottoman Empire, for a long time Bursa had also been the family tomb of the Ottoman Dynasty where its founder Sultan Gazi Osman is buried.    

 


Day 8

After breakfast check out of the hotel and head back towards Istanbul on the way stopping at the traditional Village of Cumalikizik which is now a Unesco World Heritage Site, you will have some free time to explore this charming old village with its old wooden Ottoman Houses, Market place and hospitable locals. Then drive to Iznik, a little town on the coast of wonderful lake of Askania, Iznik ( Nicaea) where the first Ecumenical Council took place here in 325 AD. This town had been the temporary capitol of the Byzantine Empire when Constantinople was captures by Latins. The centre of town still surrounded by Roman and Byzantine walls, is remarkable for the ruins of St. Sophia Temple. Continue to Istanbul and overnight.    

 

 


Day 9

After breakfast our tour concludes and we say goodbye and transfer to Airport for your onward flight. End of Services.
