Our Trip to Mardin , Urfa & Mt. Nemrut

4 days & 3 Nights

Thanks to Anatolia Tours and its owner, Tijen, that my friends and I have now returned from a 3 nights and 4 days holiday in the East of Turkey, the Mesopotamia route. We arrived in Mardin where we were collected and taken around by a driver to some sites which we enjoyed before arriving at our lovely cave hotel rooms which was perfectly located. After a day and a half we were guided to take a bus to Sanliurfa booked in to the Hilton International. There we had the freedom to explore the city on our own before a bus journey to Kahta, Adiyaman where we were met and guided by a very helpful and kind driver and tour guide arranged by Tijen who proved to be very helpful. We were then in his care arriving at probably the best hotel in the great mountains of Nemrut. The surrounds and the scenery were breathtakingly beautiful. The hotel was super comfortable with great hospitality and of course stunning views all around. We then toured around and headed to Mount Nemrut which was mystical and a perfect finish to our trip there that evening for a sunset view from the top with the Gods statue heads along side us. Nothing could be better. The next morning, our last day, again our helpful guide drove us around the mountains for more historical sites before taking us to our departure at Adiyaman airport from where we said goodbye and returned to Istanbul. All in all, the trip was perfectly arranged and therefore immensely enjoyable. Tijen, a personal thanks from all of us for all the detailing, customising and accommodating you did in organising a holiday that was catered towards our budget. Just when I was about to give up from unsuccessful browsing and speaking to other agents online, I found you! No language barriers and a can do approach from you. We would not hesitate to recommend you and your company to travellers and tourist friends at all. A huge thanks for your professionalism, hard work and friendliness. You made it all so worth while.
