We visited 9 World Heritage sites and 17 sites on the tentative list as well as other fascinating archeological finds and many of the most popular tourist attractions.! !
This involved two internal flights and a car with a most competent and congenial driver/guide for an additional 4,500 km. We stayed in a variety of hotels and all the arrangements unfolded flawlessly.!!

P.S. If you can, start a trip like this in the British Museum in London England where you can view many of the treasures that originated in the renowned sites in Turkey you are on your way to visit. ! !

We had a wonderful flawless trip. Anatolia Tours made the arrangements and Ali was our driver and guide for the last 19 days of the custom tour-for-two. ! !
Ali is an enthusiastic and knowledgeable spokesman for his country, its history, culture, and local people. We found him to be an alert, very competent driver and trouble-shooter. We felt secure and safe under his guidance and welcomed his sensitivity to our peculiarities and interests.! ! We also appreciated the fact that he personally enjoyed hiking and picture-taking and was patient with our many requests to stop away from the main sites. He also made a point of engaging in a friendly and humorous fashion with locals everywhere and this added considerable interest to our trip. ! !
