Prince’s Island walking or biking Tour

Everyday

Just an hour’s cruise on the Sea of Marmara will take you to beautiful Prince’s islands of Istanbul. Islands famous for their beautiful wooden mansions, lush pine growths and beaches make a perfect day of retreat to escape the city.

During the Byzantine and Ottoman periods, prince’s and sultan’s families  were exiled on the islands giving the islands their present name. During the 19th century, the islands became a popular resort for Istanbul’s wealthy. Islands have many beautiful Victorian -era cottages and wooden Ottoman style mansions which are still very well-preserved.

Büyükada, the biggest one of the Princes’ Islands, is large enough to easily tour around by bike. Therefore, no matter on which island you are, you can easily cycle around the island and make your day enjoyable. We can arrange a biking tour or walking tour for you in the islands.
